Kate buys LA home
Kate Moss has reportedly bought a home in Los Angeles for £1.67 million.
The 31-year-old model has bought an apartment in the Tony Sierra Towers building on Doheny Drive, according to the New York Post.
Her neighbours in the building include Lindsay Lohan and Matthew Perry.
Moss already owns a home in London and has a mansion in Oxfordshire.
She is currently dating Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty.
Posh turns down Hollywood
Victoria Beckham has reportedly turned down a part in a Hollywood blockbuster.
Producers of I Could Never Be Your Woman starring Michelle Pfeiffer offered to build a role around her, says the Mirror.
But Victoria, who last week said she was giving up pop music, decided acting "wasn't for her".
The paper quotes a source: "Victoria was extremely flattered when the producers said they were desperate to sign her up.
"Tom Cruise always said he planned to make her a huge movie star and he's obviously been having words in influential ears."
They offered her any part she wanted or said they would write her into the script. The source added: "To say that it was an incredible opportunity is an understatement.
"But she came to the conclusion that, nice as it was to be asked, putting herself up against Hollywood heavyweights wasn't something she was interested in."
Mariah plans yacht arrival at MTV Awards
Mariah Carey is planning to arrive at this weekend's MTV Video Music Awards in Miami onboard a 120-foot yacht, according to the New York Post.
The 35-year-old is due to perform at the awards where she is nominated for two Moonmen - Best Female Video and Best R&B Video for her US No 1 single We Belong Together.
Carey is currently enjoying a successful comeback in her homeland and across the world after her 2001 flop album and movie Glitter.
Her new album, The Emanicipation of Mimi, has sold more than two million in the US alone since its release in June.
